Event #1. Live Podcast with Generation Ucan -Angie will be speaking at a live podcast event with Generation Ucan on Friday, November 1st from 6:30-8:00.

Event #2. Morning Shake Out Run -We are also hosting a short 2-mile shakeout jog / chat the day before the Saturday Nov. 2nd at 8:00 am.

Join podcasters and marathoners Angie Spencer, Carrie Tollefson, Emily Abbate, and Tina Muir for Marathon Stories – a motivating, inspiring, and real look at the journey to the marathon.

Speakers include:

• Angie Spencer, host of the Marathon Training Academy Podcast
• Carrie Tollefson, host of the CTolleRun podcast
• Emily Abbate, host of The Hurdle podcast
• Tina Muir, host of the Running for Real podcast

All of these women have experienced the power of the marathon journey over the last year. The discussion will be about the challenges of training, chasing the feeling of achievement, the mental ups and downs, how to fuel, and much more!

Morning Shake Out Run with MTA

The next day we will hosting a short 2-mile shakeout jog / chat the day before the Saturday the 2nd at 8:00 am.

We are meeting in front of the New York City Marathon Pavilion

The run will take us outside Central Park onto Central Park South (W 59th Street). We’ll run west along the bottom border of the park, and re-enter the park at Columbus Circle (mile 1.7) to head the finish line. We can take a big group photo here and then grab coffee nearby (location TBD). This will take us outside Central Park onto Central Park South (W 59th Street).
