Steve Magness is a performance coach who works with executives, entrepreneurs, and athletes. He is the author of numerous books and cofounder of The Growth Equation.
His writing has appeared in Runner’s World, Sports Illustrated, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and other publications.
As a high school athlete he ran the mile in 4:01 which at the time was the 6th fastest high school mile in US history. However in college he experienced burnout (which is dealt with in his earlier book Peak Performance).
