Proceed to drop your body weight towards the ground until you reach a squatting position. Hold this position for about five seconds then move back to the starting position. 

Lying stretch

For this exercise, you will start with your face down on the mat. Move your hands up to the shoulder level, with your elbows being at the same level as your shoulders. Gently push your body weight up towards your head, similar to what you would do in a push-up. Ensure your hips are on the floor the entire time. Proceed to raise your chest area upwards until you feel a stretch or your fore-thighs. Hold this position for about 20 to 30 seconds then repeat. 

Some people usually downplay the significance of hip flexing toward improving hip flexor muscle stature with hip extensors getting even less recognition for their importance. Hip extensors are the restricting muscles working in conjunction with the hip flexors. They are essentially made out of muscles that run along the back of the leg.
